Thank you to our Red Ribbon Week volunteers
Our amazing volunteers tied big red bows around the trees on campus and washed and distributed organic apples donated by Jimbo’s to the kids during their nutrition break. It went well and kids really enjoyed the apples. We appreciate all the help from volunteers!
Career Speaker Series
CVMS is still in need of volunteers to speak to our Bobcats as part of the Career Speaker Series this year and will begin in October. For more information or to sign up, please contact our Student Support Facilitator Laura Stepanian.
Wellness Week – November 12-15
Wellness Week is coming next week! Below are the activities ASB planned for our Bobcats.
Canned Food Drive – Through November 15
Canned Food Drive kicked off Monday, 10/28. ASB is trying something a little different this year – they are setting a school wide goal to fill a large container that will hold about 2500 cans! If they can meet the goal there will be an extended lunch party for the whole school! All cans will be donated to the Encinitas Resource Center.
Bobcat Big 8 Winter Sports Tryouts – December 2-5
After a lot of feedback from parents, Boys and Girls Club is pushing the start of all winter programs back to the first week of December. Click here for the updated flier.
Lost and Found
Please have your students check the lost and found as all items left over the Thanksgiving break will be donated to a local charity.

Keep Our Schools Safe
SDUHSD has worked with local law enforcement to identify the best tool to report incidents that may impact our school environment. The San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center operates a Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) system for our county. You can help to keep our schools safe by reporting directly to the SAR school threat site. Although it does ask for identifiable information, you may submit your tip anonymously and the tip will still get routed to your local law enforcement.
